New Learning Plan - Topic



What?

My Design MA Learning Plan(Ref) was focussed on the design  of a 'Poetry game "Poeisis"  this was being designed as  one means (a.) of getting visitors of a proposed Social Network (The Bridge) ( an attempt to provide a pathway for the technically trained/limited to access their creative/expressive side)  to explore the value of Random Expressive Flow. 

My initial interest was  to enable  - people to research/elicit their own constructs...of creative potential -  and also the value of 'random expressive flow' to themselves in a creative context. The initially chosen method Repgrid (This has been set aside) . was chosen as individually focussed to allow for a  relativist epistemology but with structural/quantitative rigour...

One reason for accessing this course was to explore the need for/ value of such a network... as thebridge
Does the University Provide Something like this? Does the structure of the University enable this or not. What potential problems are there? How could these be avoided/solved? Should they be?

Visitors explore their  own constructs of  their own random expressive Flow - Value of it > Space given for exploring it- to individuals in different contexts.
The plan ( Initial How?) was:
1."Elicit and  clarify what individual (Visitor online) construction of creativity... (using Webgrid)
2. Read quotes of famous artists/inventors
3. Experiment with random Generators
4. Try Focus and Random Flow Exercises(Bridge)
5. Re elicit and compare with self / others
6. Discuss in Forums
(a.)Flow Exercises :(`Focus and Flow (Creative Writing Aid), Poetry(Poeisis), Music(W/Shop), Performance(Random Walks, Dance W/Shops)
(Webgrid is a research tool of Personal Construct Psychology (Kelly))


A Number of  Alternative Research Paradigms,  have been explored on this Course.


The Traditional/ Scientific/Prescriptive,Positivism & Post PositivismThe Interperative:PhenomenologyStructuralismPost Structuralism
Post Modernism


Much of this course has concerned the Social Construction of other people / discourses... meanings etc...











I need to choose a Research Question: and Target

(e.g. is access to this unfolding path enabled in  a specific department?)  Is it assumed as obvious?, that it will naturally emerge anyway? (what are/have been the potential issues regarding the promotion of such "free art" techniques in educational settings (such as culture clashes /stereotyping etc... ) (see context frame) Is the language bound up with specific technique.

How specific do I need to be... the essential question can get lost in thedetail.


Questions: 

"Constructs of Random Expressive Flow."... how do I rephrase this
As the term is my own... I need analogs from the departments


What language is used? is the language the same between departments...?
Between Students - Lecturers?
