Layered Textured Surfaces & The Information Commons

Is there a potential link between the Layerd Textured Surface and the Information Commons?

Layered Textured Surface Defn - The phenomenological experience provided by the 'random' movement of natural forms in nature, e.g. leaves moved by the breeze...

This formed a background for meetings and cultural events for thousands of years. Now replaced by walls.
The subtle changes of form and texture and evocation of patterns may contribute to, relaxation of group and  decision making /consensus building processes....

Can we replicate this, revisit this and find out it's effects?
