Textuality : Theory : Jameson,F.

The change wrought by the the introduction of the concept of a "text"

return to the literary area modified by the notion of "textuality"

make it possible to deal with "objects" (my quotes) in ways which suspend the troublesome notion of "objectivity"

eg politicalpower,daily life, goods,war, the city, art - all can  be read as  texts...

this liberated us from "false problems" and created "false problems"

poses formal dialemmas for expositary  writing  (Dartstellung - representational +)
