Checkland : Information

Checkland claims that  information is entirely subjective Checkland 1990. A particular item of data must be interpereted by someone through their particular structure of meaning to yield information for that person (Mingers)

This suggests his method SSM is not subject to the usual criticism of Systems Methods (that they are conservative) Layder 214
